Golden Park - Columbus, Georgia |
The Home Of The Alabama-Florida League |

Golden Park was an AFL stadium for only one year when the Columbus Foxes joined the
league in 1958. The park has a long history and because it was used as the site
for the 1996 olympic softball competition, it received a wonderful facelift.
Golden Park is one of the best minor league parks in all of baseball.
Gone is the old park's dreary fascade and in it's place is a beautiful
modern entryway. The building in front houses the right field party balcony
and the Columbus Redstixx's offices. The Redstixx left Columbus
at the end of the 2002 season, moving to the eastern suburbs of Cleveland and
becoming the Lake County Captains . |
